I have removed this spider from my two bathroom sinks no less than ten times over the last seven days. Just now, I did an underwater rescue. I'm all for personal destiny and everything, but I keep thinking it doesn't
really know what's at the end of that drain and it's my job to save it.
I was at the pool last week and saved the same butterfly three times! Every time I scooped him out of the water and he dried off, he walked to the edge of the pool and flew right back in!
ReplyDeleteI think you've done your part as far as that spider is concerned. There's only so far you can go to save a creature that doesn't want to be saved.
ReplyDelete(But, then, I'm a merciless spider squisher, so I may be biased.)
You're saving a spider??? That would have been flushed ages ago in my house.
ReplyDeleteBut if you flush them, they might come back...
ReplyDelete10 times? Damn. Spiders around here are lucky if they get one rescue. Depends on how slow it is (fast = fast DEATH) and whether I'm dressed enough to chuck it outside.
